Your Captain, Crew and Your Opportunity to Discover
Quintessent is a sailing vessel built in Taiwan in 1983. She has been hand built by master craftsmen to standards that include, safety, function and the best products for sailing vessels in her day. She has incredible appointments such as the all wood interior finish which is very rare today in these times of 'plastic' factory made boats.
We love sailing so much and the closeness it brings us to creation and natural beauty. It is something we are compelled to share with you.

Jay Luck is a Coast Guard licensed captain to 100-ton vessels. Alex
Cucci-Luck, although a teenager, knows the Quintessent well. He sailed
her with Captain Luck since he was 4, and is a fine seaman. Lori Luck,
Captain Jay's other half, is our newer sailor. She adds to our
experience from her nature studies and it's relevance to our energy,
peace and balance, including health and beauty. Lori brings a knowledge
of raw foods nutrition, acquired from observations with internationally
renowned raw foods expert Dr. Aajonus Vonderplanitz. Lori continued her
experience in Hawaii at retreats she designed for detoxification and
holistic healing with foods.
We sail the Quintessent in the tropics and the upper Mississippi River while offering our guests opportunities to sail with us in all locations. Meanwhile in 2008, sail with us on the incredible Mississippi River and it's tributaries, the great Lake Superior or join us during the winter in the tropics.

Special Charters at Sunset includes a champagne toast to the setting sun. Although the sunset sail is hard to beat, we really enjoy the twilight sail.

CONDOMINIUM rentals are daily, weekly and monthly. Our lovely 3 bedroom condo is on the water and include a dock if you need one for your boat. Winter Sailing In the Islands Jan-March 2008/2009
Sail away on your own chartered yacht. Includes captain and first mate. 40-60 foot sailing vessels available. If you want privacy for just you and someone special, we can do that. If you want to be with just your friends or join others who love to sail, we can arrange that too!
From one to three staterooms depending on the size of your group.
You can crew or just sit back and relax. Charter costs range from 1000 to 2500 per stateroom (really depends on boat size and group size).

To me sailing is like my zen. It's like air, I have to have it in my life. I have the unique and blessed opportunity to share sailing with people from many walks of life. The inspiration and peace it provides them is sometimes incredible.
Folks have renewed vows, become engaged, slowed down and realized what is important in life. I'm blessed to be part of that inspiration.

Great River Cruise October/November 2008
Join us for the entire cruise down the river from Lake City to the Gulf of Mexico.
Join us for a few hours or 1-30 days.
Cost is incredibly reasonable for a great adventure! As little as 40 bucks per day.
